I've been following these guys for about a year now. Hilltop excursions, album releases, and rehearsals in their rented warehouse in downtown Tucson. This group of musicians are dedicated to their craft - they each play multiple instruments, are insightful, kind, and bring a unique new element of artistry to progressive rock.

Backbeat - In the Studio (music)
Formed by Jon Westfall in 2009, this Tucson-based group performs an eclectic mix of blues, swing, and rock 'n' roll classics; inspired by Motown and Chess Records releases, Backbeat fills a much needed void in the Tucson music scene, overwhelmed by distorted, tinny guitar chords, abusive drum solos, and sour gimmicks. These images were collected from a recording session in the Spring of 2009.
